Once upon a time, my life was all about Southern California beaches, fast cars, and tan blondes. In that order. Then it all flipped, I got married. Speed forward 20 years, I got divorced.

Moved to Columbus, NM in 2008 to join the family business. Martha's Place Hotel.

Martha, was my mother, and "Martha's Place" was her home and hotel, where she reigned for 30 years.

In 2015 Martha sold the hotel to her brother, and she retired in my care. Passing in 2018. God rest her soul.

And there I was, in Columbus, NM. Now what?

Little did I know, that a developing passion for working on my home and property on the outskirts of the village, would eventually come around full circle with the opening of "The Hole in the Wall Getaway. My home, and "Hotel". Sort of.

Through AirBNB, Booking, and VRBO, I'm able to share my home and the Columbus experience with travelers who, for whatever reason, find themselves my roommate in the middle of nowhere.
